The 2025 IndyCar race schedule features an impressive lineup of 17 races, starting on March 2 in St. Petersburg, Florida, and concluding on August 31 in Nashville, Tennessee. This season brings significant changes, such as promoting The Thermal Club event to a complete points-paying race and scaling back the Milwaukee Mile to just one race. Furthermore, the World Wide Technology Raceway event shifts from August to June. Fans can look forward to extensive live coverage of every race on FOX and the FOX Sports app.
This year marked the debut of a quadruple-header, four events consecutively. This covers successive races at Mid-Ohio, Iowa Speedway, the Toronto event, and the Laguna Seca race. Also, because the Thermal Club event in California is a private track, points were not earlier awarded there. The $1 million challenge this year has the winner scooping the lot. Drivers will first start accumulating points from the event at The Thermal Club from next year.
